日本のお祭りは「神仏や祖先、自然界に感謝する≒祀る」を語源とし、各地の風習により今に伝わります。
祭りがあることで活気づき、多世代の交流や商売繁盛、技術伝承が織りなされています。
日常と非日常を表す「ハレ（非日常）とケ（日常）」の概念を用いると、お祭りは「ハレ（折り目・節目を表す）」とされ、「晴れの舞台」が語源とされています。
本展では、そのような晴れ舞台にて、地域や世代、国境を越えた、万博ならではの舞台をお届けします。
Japanese festivals (matsuri) have their roots in expressing gratitude (matsuru) to gods, ancestors, and nature. These traditions, shaped by regional customs, have been passed down through generations to the present day.
Festivals bring life to communities, fostering intergenerational connections, thriving commerce, and the preservation of traditional skills.
Using the concept of hare (extraordinary) and ke (ordinary), festivals represent hare as special occasions marking significant milestones, a concept tied to the origin of the phrase "Hare no Butai (a stage for extraordinary, or celebration)."
In this exhibition, we present a stage that celebrates and transcends regions, generations, and borders, embodying the spirit of the Expo via extraordinary experiences.

万博をきっかけに「音」で繋がった３市の初コラボ。那須塩原市：リンツ市との合唱、豊中市：とよなかピアノ、沖縄市：エイサーを披露し、いのちを響き合わせ、高める「音」を楽しむことができる特別なステージです。

ブース
打刃物の奇跡が織り成す鋭刃の饗宴
「三木金物」と「越前打刃物」を用いて組み上げられた巨大モニュメント「金物鷲」と「昇龍」を一堂に集め、その美しさと職人技術の結晶を展示。古来から続く日本有数の刃物産地の技術に触れることで、日本の伝統工芸やものづくり技術について深く知ることができます。

Ensemble for the Future
-A Stage for Resonating Life Together-
This Expo marks the first collaboration of three cities united by "sound." Nasushiobara City will feature a chorus with Linz City, Toyonaka City will present the Toyonaka Piano, and Okinawa City will perform the Eisa. This special stage offers a unique opportunity to enjoy "sounds" that resonate and enrich life.

Japanese traditional culture Mai! Odoru!!
A collaboration between Tokushima's "Awa Odori" and Hiroshima's "Kagura"!
By fusing traditional Japanese culture, we create new energy and fun.
A performance that combines the brave and splendid "Mai" of Kagura with the dynamic "Odori" of Awa Odori will make your heart dance!?

The energy of dance bringing good luck and happiness
A special stage where you can feel the different expressions of each festival that pray for a good match, a safe childbirth, a bountiful harvest and a good catch.
Traditional festivals that have been passed down for generations in each region will collaborate at the Expo to bring the energy of festivals through dance.

BOOTH
A feast of sharp blades woven by the miracle of forged blades
Giant monuments “Kanamono Washi (Hardware Eagle)” and “Shoryu (ascending Dragon)” assembled with “MIKI Kanamono (Hardware)” and “ECHIZEN Uchihamono (Forged Blades)” are exhibited in one place, showing the beauty and craftsmanship of these two monuments. Visitors can learn more about traditional Japanese crafts and manufacturing techniques by experiencing the skills of one of Japan’s leading cutlery production centers that been in existence since ancient times.
