阿波おどり
日本を代表する夏祭りといえる『阿波おどり』。徳島県内各所で開催されていますが、徳島市の『阿波おどり』はその中でも最大級。市内中心部に複数の演舞場が設置されるほか、路上でも熱い踊りが繰り広げられ、国内外から５日間で１００万人以上が訪れます。阿波おどりは古くから「手をあげて、足を運べば阿波おどり」と言われるほど、初めての方にも親しみやすいのが特徴。「よしこの(阿波おどり特有のお囃子)」のリズムを感じ、熱気の渦に飛び込みませんか。
Awa Odori
Tokushima City's Awa Odori festival is by far the largest of the Awa Odori festivals held throughout the prefecture, and one of the largest summer festivals in Japan. The dance can be watched throughout the city center at several seated spectator venues called enbujou, or on most streets within the festival area. Over the four days of the festival, more than 1 million visitors from throughout Japan and overseas flock to Tokushima.
400余年の歴史を持つ阿波おどり
阿波おどりの起源については諸説あるが、徳島城下で行われていた盆踊りが「組踊り」「俄」「ぞめき」などの民衆芸能の影響を受け現在の形になったという説が有力です。徳島藩が藍や塩で栄え、芸事を好んだ藍商人が全国から文化を徳島に持ち帰ったことが阿波おどりを発展させたと言われています。
The Awa Odori has a history of over 400 years
Awa Odori is based on the Bon Festival that was performed in the castle town of Tokushima during the Edo period. The merchants of the Ai-indigo brought back the songs and dances from all over Japan to Tokushima, which developed into the Awa Odori.
ひろしま安芸高田神楽
神楽（かぐら）は太鼓や笛などのお囃子と一緒に、華やかな衣装や表情豊かな神楽面をつけた人たちが、ある物語を題材にして舞うものです。
安芸高田市の神楽の特徴は、演劇性が強いという点で、極めて大衆的でのびのびした民俗芸能に発展しました。大衆化により、人々の神社・神に対する信仰心を繋ぎ止め、自然や神の脅威・恩恵に対する先人の心を今に止める大きな役割を果たしているといえます。安芸高田市の神楽には、劇化のなかにも、神人和楽という神楽の原形が息づいているのです。
※神人和楽（しんじんわらく）とは、神も人も一緒になってわいわい和やかに楽しむという神楽の真髄を指す言葉。
Hiroshima Akitakata Kagura
Kagura is a dance performed by people wearing colorful costumes and expressive Kagura masks, accompanied by drums, flutes, and other musical accompaniments, based on a story.
Kagura in Akitakata City is characterized by its strong theatrical nature, and has developed into an extremely popular and carefree folk entertainment. It can be said that its popularization has played a major role in retaining people's faith in shrines and gods, and in stopping our ancestors' thoughts about the threats and blessings of nature and gods. In the Kagura of Akitakata City, even though it has been made into a drama, the original form of Kagura called Shinjinwagura is still alive.
※Shinjinwaraku is a word that refers to the essence of Kagura, in which gods and people enjoy together.
楽器と楽人の構成
神楽の奏楽は、基本的に大太鼓（大胴） 、小太鼓、笛、手打鉦（てうちかね）で構成され、主に大太鼓の流れに合わせて演奏をします。
観客から見て、手前から笛、手打鉦、小太鼓、一番奥が大太鼓というのが基本的な並び方です。
笛がメロディーを担当し、小太鼓や大太鼓が緩急自在にリズムを刻み、手打鉦の甲高い音が場を引き締めます。
Instruments and musicians
Kagura music is basically composed of a large drum, a small drum, a flute, and a hand-struck gong, and is performed with the flow of the large drum.
From the audience's perspective, the basic arrangement is: flute, gong, small drum, and large drum at the very back.
The flute plays the melody, the small drums and large drums keep the rhythm, varying from slow to fast, and the high-pitched sound of the hand-struck gong tightens the atmosphere.

安芸高田市
安芸高田市は、広島県のほぼ中央に位置する人口約26,000人の自然豊かな市です。
全国的にも神楽（かぐら）が盛んな地として有名で、安芸高田神楽といえば、古来から続く神楽のみならず、新舞と呼ばれる新しい神楽が人気を博しています。
神楽ドームは、千畳敷の広さの観客席を持った、日本では他に例のない神楽専用の観覧施設で、最大1,500人が神楽を鑑賞することができます。
毎週末の定期公演をはじめ、神楽大会など一年を通して（冬を除く）豪華絢爛な舞いを観ることができます。

Akitakata City
Located in the center of Hiroshima Prefecture, Akitakata City has a population of approximately 26,000 and is rich in nature.
It is famous nationwide as a place where Kagura is flourishing, and Akitakata Kagura is popular not only for its traditional Kagura but also for a new type of Kagura called shinmai.
The Kagura Dome is a dedicated viewing facility for Kagura, the only one of its kind in Japan, with seating the size of a thousand tatami mats, and can accommodate up to 1,500 people.
In addition to regular performances every weekend, you can enjoy magnificent dances all year round (except winter), including Kagura tournaments.
