「横手のかまくら」

「かまくら」は、小正月の伝統行事で毎年2月15日と16日に開催されます。かまくらは、約450年の歴史を誇り、東北を代表する冬のまつりとして知られています。それぞれのかまくらには神棚が設けられ、水の神様が祀られています。

Kamakura(snow hut)Festival is a traditional lunar New year event that is held every year on February 15 and 16.Kamakura has a history of around 450 years and is well-known as leading winter Festival of Tohoku. An altar is built in each kamakura and worships the God of Water.

播磨は日本酒のふるさと

「播磨国風土記」の昔から酒とともにあった播磨地域。
この地域の酒蔵が兵庫県産山田錦のみを使って醸造した日本酒だけが「はりま」を名乗れます。口当たりが柔らかく優しい丸みがあり、苦み渋みが少ない繊細なコクと豊かな香味が特徴の「はりま」のお酒をお楽しみください。

Harima, the home of Japanese sake

The Harima region has been associated with Sake since the ancient times of the “Harima no Kuni Fudoki”.
In the Haima region, Sake breweries using Yamadanishiki from Hyogo prefecture is called “Harima”. It has a smooth and gentle taste. Please enjoy the delicate richness and aromatic flavorful of Harima Sake, which has little bitterness and astringency.

横手市

横手市は日本の北側、東京から約500kmの秋田県南部に位置し、豊かな稲作と交通の要衝地であることを背景に歴史と文化を重ねてきた人口約８万人の街です。周囲を山に囲まれた横手盆地にあり、中心部には雄物川と横手川が流れ、市街地を囲むように水田地帯や果樹畑が形成されています。春夏秋冬がはっきりしていて美しい景色が見られますが、冬の積雪はしばしば２ｍを超え、市民は時に牙を剥く自然と向き合って暮らしてきました。山と雪から生まれる水、水を活かした米、米から生まれた豊かな食文化、稲作をベースとした風習やまつりが自慢の横手市です。

Yokote City

Yokote City is located in the northern part of Japan, in the southern part of Akita Prefecture, about 500 kilometers from Tokyo. It has a population of about 80,000 people. It is historically a rich rice and transportation hub. It is located in the Yokote Basin surrounded by mountains, with the Omonogawa River and Yokote River flowing through its heart. Rice paddies and fruit fields surround the city. Each of the four seasons are distinctly beautiful and you can enjoy the scenery year-round. However, the snow piles up to 2 meters in the winter, and the citizens have to live face-to-face with nature that sometimes shows us its aggressive side.
Yokote City is known for its customs and festivals based on rice cultivation. This is thanks to the water from the mountains and snow which allows for delicious rice and food.

姫路市

姫路市は、日本のほぼ中央にある兵庫県の南西部に位置し、東京から西へ約600km、大阪から約70kmの所にあります。世界遺産・姫路城や書寫山圓教寺等の映画のロケ地としても使用される歴史資産や多様な自然資源があり、これらを生かした観光とともに、自然豊かな生活環境にも恵まれています。

Himeji City

Himeji City is located in the southwestern part of Hyogo Prefecture, roughly in the center of Japan, about 600 km west of Tokyo and 70 km from Osaka.
In addition to historical assets used as filming locations for movies such as World Heritage sites Himeji Castle and Shoshazan Engyo-ji Temple, the city is also home to a variety of natural resources, and as well as tourism that takes advantage of these resources, it is also blessed with a living environment rich in nature.
